They say birthdays change as you get older—and honestly? Mine’s all about the kids now. 😊

This year’s “cake” wasn’t our usual store bought but rather my first time making a birthday cake for myself. Plus the kids made it feel like it was their birthday instead of mine. 😂

While I was still layering the ChocoChip-Misu cake, they were already circling like little sharks, asking, “Is it time to cut the cake yet?”

When we finally lit the cake up, the excitement in their eyes said it all. Candles blown, cake sliced, and p**f — a whole 8x8 cake nearly gone in minutes. Nothing beats seeing those kiddy smiles and chocolate-covered grins. 💕

Birthdays change as we get older — the celebration becomes less about us and more about the joy of family, especially the little ones. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. 💝
