Invest on them, take care of them, trust them, inspire them, train them well, teach them, help them improve, push them to be better, support them, spend time with them, talk to them, recognize their hard work and good job, be considerate, protect their interest, be adjustable, appreciate them, make them happy in simple ways, reward them, value them and their family and whatever is important for them.
Along the way, problems will come, learn how to resolve it with them, don't just push them away when something is wrong.

Why?

Because they are not just my boys, they are not just my employees. And im not just their employer.

They're my business partners and a family as well.

How you treat them will reflect on how they treat you and their job.

Not all will appreciate and value what you do and how you treat them.
But a few of them will, and they'll stay with you.
I'm no pro, but it's what i have learned.
