𝟭𝟱 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔 𝗟𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

The Municipality of Naguilian, La Union and TESDA Region I, through the TESDA La Union Provincial Office, formally signed a 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗠𝗢𝗔) at the Balikbayan Function Hall, Ortiz, Naguilian, La Union, reaffirming their shared commitment to expanding access to quality technical education, skills development, and employment opportunities for the people of Naguilian.

The partnership was facilitated through the efforts of the TESDA La Union Provincial Office together with the Provincial Training Center Agoo under the leadership of Mr. Jovencio Panida, whose active coordination and support helped pave the way for this meaningful collaboration between TESDA and the Local Government Unit of Naguilian.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗢𝗔 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝗿. 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗧. 𝗥𝘂𝗶𝘇, 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗡𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗶 𝗧. 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗣. 𝗗𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗶𝘀, 𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗘, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔 𝗟𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗿. 𝗡𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗔. 𝗗𝘂𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻, 𝗣𝗘𝗦𝗢 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿/𝗦𝗟𝗘𝗢/𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗖, 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀.

Through this partnership, TESDA and the Municipality of Naguilian will work hand in hand in implementing community-based and enterprise-based training programs, providing scholarship opportunities, conducting competency assessments and certifications, strengthening the capabilities of Community Training and Employment Coordinators (CTECs), and enhancing employment facilitation and enterprise development initiatives for TESDA graduates.

The agreement further reinforces the LGU's role in identifying priority sectors, conducting training needs assessments, organizing local technical education and skills development committees, and supporting sustainable workforce development programs that address the needs of the community.

This partnership marks another significant milestone in promoting inclusive growth, employment generation, and community empowerment through skills development in Naguilian, La Union.
