✨ 𝗜𝗙 𝗬𝗢𝗨'𝗥𝗘 𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗪𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥, 𝗬𝗢𝗨'𝗟𝗟 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦… ✨

Our students always bring their little treasures—toys, stuffed animals, tiny cages, and random little things—and somehow, by the end of the day… they become ours too.(charooot) 😂💛

But these are often their 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀. They help children feel safe, calm, and secure, especially when they're anxious, adjusting to a new environment, or missing home.

𝗛𝗼𝘄𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿, 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆, 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝘀. The goal isn't to remove their comfort items right away but to gently teach boundaries, flexibility, and independence.

🌟 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗜𝗣𝗦:
✔️ Acknowledge their feelings and comfort items.
✔️ Set clear expectations and routines.
✔️ Use the item as motivation or reinforcement.
✔️ Gradually encourage participation without depending on it all the time.
✔️ Celebrate every small step toward independence.
