Pinangunahan ni Ma’am Jinky S. Dacles, Nutrition Month Coordinator kaakibat ang suporta ni Ma'am Rosita B. Ocenar, Punongg**o IV ng Patong NHS kasama ang mga aktibong g**o at mga mag-aaral ng paaralan ang makulay na pagtatapos ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Nutrisyon sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng sertipiko at premyo sa mga nagwagi sa iba’t ibang patimpalak tulad ng Nutriquiz Bee, Headdress Competition, Poster Making, Nutritiktok, at Nutribooth.

Kasabay nito, sinimulan din ni Sir Jero B. Cabral, Filipino Month Coordinator, ang pambungad na palatuntunan para sa Buwan ng Wika sa pamamagitan ng pag-anunsyo ng mga kapana-panabik na patimpalak para sa buwan ng Agosto.
Isang masigla at makabuluhang pagsasama ng kalusugan at kulturang Pilipino ang ating nasaksihan! ✨

PATONG NHS KICKS OFF S.Y. 2025-2026

Patong National High School opens School Year 2025–2026 with enthusiasm and well-organized program that sets a hopeful tone for the academic year ahead.

The day commences with a traditional flag-raising ceremony led by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers, instilling a sense of patriotism and discipline among students, teachers, and staff. Then, the school principal delivers a heartfelt welcome message, expressing gratitude for the community's continuous support and encouraging students to embrace every opportunity to learn and grow.

Adding a touch of color and entertainment, the SSLG officers present an intermission number that brings cheers and excitement from the audience, showcasing the students’ vibrant spirit and creativity.

An inspirational message from the Division Monitor, in the person Sir Gerry P. Ocenar, uplifts everyone, reminding students of the importance of education in achieving their dreams and emphasizing the value of resilience, hard work, and discipline in the face of challenges.

The event continues with a student orientation designed to guide learners through the key aspects of school life, including School Rules and Policies, School Activities for the new school year, School-Based Anti-Bullying Policies, and Guidelines on the Grading System and the Selection of Honor Students.

The opening of classes for SY 2025–2026 marks not only a return to school but also a renewed commitment to academic excellence, student development, and a culture of respect and inclusivity. With everyone working together, the year ahead promises to be meaningful, productive, and full of learning.

On September 25, 2024, the National Drug Education Program, spearheaded by the Barkada Kontra Droga Officers, aimed to promote awareness against illegal drug use. This engaging event featured a FREEDOM WALL for participants to express their thoughts, a creative "How are you PILLing (feeling) today" activity to encourage emotional sharing, and a lively photo booth to capture memories. The initiative sought to foster learners' involvement and provide a supportive environment for open discussions on drug prevention.
