Seeking Within

We all have heroes, people we admire and aspire to be like. Moroni is one of my favorites. How can we see ourselves as heroes in our own stories when we look in the mirror? How can we become more like the Moroni's we admire?

Think about the following words from Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf:

“The journey will be filled with challenges.
But the struggle itself will transform you into the person you want to be. Work hard. Be consistent. Focus on the things you can change, not so much on the things you cannot change. Have faith. Have hope. Trust in God. Know that if you do your part, things will work out.”

Who is the hero you want to be like?

We use to hear this words before and don't know what to say in response. You don't have to respond in any case, but let me tell you something:

"The Church is not an automobile showroom—a place to put ourselves on display so that others can admire our spirituality, capacity, or prosperity. It is more like a service center, where vehicles in need of repair come for maintenance and rehabilitation.

And are we not, all of us, in need of repair, maintenance, and rehabilitation?

We come to church not to hide our problems but to heal them."
