Farmer’s Field Day 2026 🌾🌾👨‍🌾🌱
May 20, 2026 | Sitio San Juan, Odiong, Roxas
Isang makabuluhang araw ng pag-aaral at pagbabahagi ng kaalaman ang naganap sa Farmer’s Field Day na pinangunahan ng DA-MIMAROPA – Research Division mula Naujan, na dinaluhan ng 40 farmers mula sa Roxas. 🌾

Pinangunahan ni Ms. Marilyn Sanchez, Senior Science Research Specialist, ang pagtalakay at field appreciation ng Trial Rice Varieties NSIC 647, NSIC 582, at NSIC 670, na layong mapalakas ang produksyon at kita ng ating mga magsasaka.

Maraming salamat sa ating Farmer Cooperator na si Venerando I. Maligo sa pagbabahagi ng kanyang sakahan para sa mahalagang gawaing ito. 🤝

Isinagawa ang aktibidad sa pakikipagtulungan ng Local Government Unit of Roxas sa pamumuno ni Jerwin S. Dimapilis, sa pamamagitan ng Municipal Agriculture Office of Roxas na pinamumunuan ni Nerissa C. Gutierrez.

Sama-sama nating pinalalakas ang kaalaman, teknolohiya, at pagkakaisa para sa mas masagana at matatag na agrikultura. 💚🌾

𝗣𝗖𝗥𝗔 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 | Mangrove and Seagrass Monitoring 🌏💙🌊🫶🏼✨
As part of the Participatory Coastal Resource Assessment (PCRA), field assessment activities on the mangrove and seagrass ecosystems of Roxas were successfully conducted on May 5, 2026 using the Seagrass-Watch monitoring method and Mangrove Monitoring through the Stratified Transect Plot Method.

The activity aims to assess the current condition, health, and biodiversity of our vital coastal habitats that serve as breeding grounds, nursery areas, and natural protection for marine life and coastal communities.

The data and information gathered from this assessment will serve as important baseline inputs for the upcoming writeshop and formulation of the Integrated Coastal Resource Management Plan (ICRMP) of the Local Government Unit of Roxas.

Through science-based monitoring and collaborative participation, we continue to strengthen our commitment in protecting and conserving the rich coastal resources of Roxas for future generations.

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗣𝗖𝗥𝗔) 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 💙🌏🍃🫶🏼✨
Successfully conducted on May 4–6, 2026 at the Municipal Building, Bagumbayan, Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, the Participatory Coastal Resource Assessment (PCRA) Training gathered stakeholders and coastal resource managers in strengthening knowledge and strategies for the protection, conservation, and sustainable management of our marine and coastal resources.

This activity was spearheaded by Conservation International - Philippines and the Provincial Agriculture Office in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Roxas through the Municipal Agriculture Office.

Through collaboration, science-based assessment, and community participation, we continue to move forward in safeguarding the richness of our coastal ecosystems for future generations.

Nakikiisa ang National African Swine Fever Prevention and Control Program (NASFPCP) sa pagkilala at pagbibigay-pugay sa lahat ng mga beterinaryo sa bansa at sa buong mundo.

Malaki ang bahagi ng ating mga beterinaryo sa pagtiyak ng kalusugan ng ating mga alagang hayop at sa pagprotekta sa pampublikong kalusugan ng bawat mamamayan.

Maraming salamat sa mga beterinaryong walang sawang nagbabantay, nagtuturo, at nagsisiyasat sa field upang mapanatiling ligtas ang ating industriya ng pagbababoy mula sa banta ng ASF.
