Hindi namin makakaila… paminsan-minsan namimiss pa rin namin ang city life. 😅 Yung biglaang, “Love, gusto mo ng Chowking?” o kaya “Order na lang tayo sa Grab.” Ang dali lang kasi noon, isang tap lang, may pagkain na.

Pero simula nang tumira kami sa province, unti-unti ring nagbago ang lifestyle namin.

Mas madalas na ang fresh na isda, gulay na galing sa paligid, at home-cooked meals. Hindi na rin kami palaging naghahanap ng kakainan o kung ano ang ipa-deliver. Nakakagulat din na may mga araw na halos wala kaming nagagastos.

Hindi dahil pinagkakaitan namin ang sarili namin, kundi dahil mas naging simple ang buhay. Doon namin na-realize na marami pala sa mga dati naming gastos ay convenience lang—Grab, coffee, late-night cravings, at kung anu-ano pang impulse buys.

Kaya kapag napapadalas ang ganitong pagkain (swipe 👉😂), mas naa-appreciate namin siya. Hindi na siya ordinaryong dinner, parang little celebration na rin.

Hindi namin sinasabing mas maganda ang province kaysa city. Pareho silang may kanya-kanyang saya. Pero sa season ng buhay namin ngayon, mas pinipili naming maging intentional sa bawat piso.

Hindi dahil bawal gumastos. Hindi rin dahil gusto naming magmukhang matipid.

Gusto lang naming siguraduhin na bawat perang pinaghihirapan namin ay may direksyon. Mas gusto naming mag-build ngayon para mas maging kampante kami sa future.

Sabi nga nila, every season has a purpose. At para sa amin, ito ang season ng pagbuo, building better habits, building financial discipline, at building the life we’ve been praying for. ❤️

Hindi naman karera ang buhay. Iba-iba lang talaga tayo ng season at timing. 🌿

Isa sa mga madalas naming pag-usapan bilang mag-asawa ay hindi lang ang gastos sa ngayon, kundi kung paano rin kami maghahanda para sa future.

✨ What I Learned from Church Yesterday ✨

Honestly, this message was more for me than anyone else. 🥹🤍

Minsan akala ko okay na ako. Minsan feeling ko I’m doing enough. Pero yesterday, hinumble na naman ako ni Lord.

I was reminded that true worship is not just about attending church every Sabbath. It’s about how we live every single day. Worship is reflected in our actions, attitudes, and the way we treat people.

🤍 Sa work — gawin ang best ko with honesty and integrity.
🤍 Sa bahay — serve my family with love, patience, and forgiveness.
🤍 Sa friends — choose kindness over gossip and be generous with what I have.
🤍 Sa panahon ng trials — trust God instead of complaining.
🤍 Kahit walang nakakakita — still choose what is right because God sees everything.

The illustration about the lightbulb really spoke to me. 💡

A lightbulb doesn’t shine only when it’s inside a room, it shines wherever it is placed. Ganun din tayo. Hindi lang tayo followers of Christ sa loob ng church. We are called to shine for Him at home, at work, in our community, and wherever He places us.

Today, God reminded me that every blessing, every opportunity, every achievement, and every answered prayer comes from Him. Wala akong maipagmamalaki apart from His grace. Success means nothing if it doesn’t glorify the One who gave it.

Lord, thank You for loving me enough to correct me. Thank You for humbling my heart once again. Keep me teachable, obedient, and always focused on You. May my life be an act of worship every single day not just on Sabbath, but in everything I do.

Many of you may not know that Summor Vlogs has actually been our YouTube channel name for years. We started by creating sneaker and shoe content, but as life changed, so did our journey.

When I moved back to Romblon and got married, this page became more than just my personal story; it became our story. As a husband-and-wife team, we now share our faith, simple island life in Romblon, travel adventures, practical money tips, honest product reviews, and the little moments that make life meaningful.

We wanted one name across all our platforms that truly reflects who we are today.

The name may have changed, but our mission remains the same to inspire, educate, and bring value through authentic content.
