JUST IN | SU***DE PREVENTION PROGRAM

Several journalists from The Cocoon publication and members of the Peer Nurture Circle (PNC) of Kasiglahan Village Senior High School participated in the Quarterly Su***de Prevention Program Activities for Teens titled "Ganda Mo, Galing Mo: A Self-Love and Mental Health Empowerment Day" organized by the Municipality of Montalban on October 10, 2025, at Municipal Gymnasium, Balite, Rodriguez, Rizal.

This seminar aims to promote self-love, personal empowerment, and mental health among youth, as well as to educate students about su***de and how to prevent it.

The program also includes free haircut and free confidential HIV testing for students.

Aside from this, a celebrity makeup artist, Mark Kingson Qua, was also invited to the program to teach attendees how to properly do makeup, in line with the seminar's purpose of promoting self-confidence.

LOOK | HUMSS and STEM Launch the Heartful Project for the Children with disabilities on Saturday, October 4, 2025

HUMSS and STEM grade 12 students completed their Heartful Project with success. Twenty four (24) children with disabilities from different areas of Kasiglahan Village attended the program.

The program featured different activities such as interactive games and performance, face painting and balloon making activity, and a magic show with the clowns.

The program was also to give knowledge about the experiences of differently abled people, with speakers like Ma'am Ophalyn Mortera, Alteria Gintu, and Ma'am Lilly Tancuan, shared their insights, experience, and knowledge.

The project was led by Project Coordinator Mr. Juvenal Sambrano, along with the head of the PWD department, Ma'am Lilly J. Tancuan from Area 2 of San Jose, Rodriguez Rizal, and the Students organizer, led by Ms. Chrisley Balambao from HUMSS strand, and Mr. John Kyle Medianesta from STEM strand.

Through initiatives like Project Heartful, the students of HUMSS and STEM continue to represent compassion, generosity, and the true spirit of giving.

‎LOOK | ICT's Heartful Project with the Elderly

‎The Information and Communication Technology Conducts “Heartful Project" on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Kasiglahan Village Senior High School.

‎The program was attended by 38 Senior Citizens, together with the ABM Faculty Teachers, and ICT Society Officers.

‎The program had five activities:

‎“Opening Remarks" by Mrs. Mila Ramirez
‎“Medical Checkup" of RHU Medical Professionals
‎“Interaction with Seniors” by ICT Society Officers
‎“Introduction To The Performers” by Mr. Xander Conchas & Mr. Fritz Vallejos
‎ “Gift Giving & Meal Time” of ICT Society Officers

‎Overall, these sessions emphasized how the students help to our beloved Senior Citizens at Kasiglahan Village.
