🌍 Strengthening Community Resilience: 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake and Tsunami Evacuation Drill 🌊

In a comprehensive effort to enhance disaster preparedness and resilience, our municipality conducted the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, which included a Tsunami Evacuation Drill simulation. This vital activity brought together key response and support teams, including the Palawan Rescue Team, MHO, MSDWO, MEO, GSO, 4Ps, MDRRMO Auxiliaries, Navy Reservists, PNP, BFP, PCG, 7MC MBLT 7, DILG, PDRRMO and our dedicated Barangay Council members & BERT. Their joint participation demonstrated a united commitment in strengthening our readiness and safeguarding our community against potential natural disasters.

Guided by the expertise of MDRRMO Department Head Anthony B. Lorenzo and led by LDRMMO-III Romeo D. Cadang, the drill focuses on enhancing coordination, swift response, and effective rescue operations. Through simulated scenarios, participants practiced evacuation, search and rescue, and critical response procedures to ensure a coordinated approach when time matters most.

This program was made possible through the continuous support of Municipal Mayor Hon. Norman S. Ong, Vice Mayor Hon. Maria Gracia M. Zapanta, and the members of the 16th Sangguniang Bayan. Their unwavering dedication to our community's safety and resilience fuels our collective mission to remain vigilant and prepared.

With activities like these, we reaffirm our commitment to building a disaster-ready resilient community, prepared to protect and support one another when faced with adversity. 🛡️👨‍🚒

Ngayong araw ika-13 ng Marso
Ang MDRRMO-Rizal ay nagbahagi ng kaunting kaalaman sa mga 4ps mula sa Brangay Candawaga at Campong Ulay tungkol sa mga posibleng sakuna na maaaring dumating tulad ng bagyo, baha, sunog, landslide, at lindol.

Pinangunahan ito ng MDRRMO Rizal Training Head na si Christian Lozada.
Ibinahagi niya ang mga kailangang laman ng EBALDE o go bag na dapat handa sa oras ng sakuna. Ang mga ito ay kailangang magtaglay ng mga mahahalagang gamit tulad ng pagkain, tubig, gamot, damit, at iba pa. Sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng kaalaman, mahalaga na handa at alisto ang bawat mamamayan sa anumang posibleng sakuna na maaaring dumating.

Ito ay hiling mula sa Barangay Candawaga at Barangay Campong Ulay at agad naman itong pinaunlakan ng ating Municipal Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Mr. Anthony B. Lorenzo (MDRRMO head)

Lubos na pasasalamat naman kay Mayor Norman S. Ong, Vice Mayor Maria Gracia M. Zapanta at ang 16th Sangguniang Bayan, sa lahat ng suporta para sa mga ganitong aktibidad para sa ating mga mamayan sa bayan ng Rizal.
