On May 15, 2025, the 2nd year FM/MM and AIS students of Abada College had the opportunity to participate in an enlightening 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 held at the Abada College Alumni Hall. This seminar was made possible through the efforts and initiative of Ma’am Mary Grace Atienza, who strongly believed in the importance of financial education for students.

We were honored to have Ms. Kristine A. Peña, a manager from 𝐁𝐃𝐎 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤, as our guest speaker. She shared her expertise on the significance of being financially literate, how to set clear and achievable financial goals, and how to make wise financial decisions that will benefit us in the long run. Her talk emphasized the vital role that financial institutions play in empowering individuals and shaping a stronger economy.

The seminar was a huge success, not just because of the knowledge we gained, but also because of the inspiration it sparked among us students to take control of our financial future. We are truly grateful for this meaningful opportunity to learn and grow, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Peña, Ma’am Grace, BDO Network Bank, and Abada College for making this possible.🫶
