World AIDS Day 2025
Today, December 1 , the LGU joins the global community in commemorating World AIDS Day with the theme “Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response.”
We reaffirm our commitment to sustained political leadership, strong international cooperation, and a human-rights-centered HIV response to help end AIDS by 2030.
Despite disruptions and rising vulnerabilities, we honor the resilience and innovation of communities who continue to lead the fight to end AIDS.
Let us work together for a healthier, more inclusive future.

2nd Day of HIV/AIDS Awareness Campaign Seminar for Grades 10-12 students of San Jose Pili National High School, in collaboration with Rural Health Units 1 & 2 of Pili, also introduced "The Phoenix Project," a non- governmental organization that aims to promote awareness, to prevent the spread of HIV by educating, provide care and support for those living with HIV, and combat stigma and discrimination associated with the virus. 🦠
Our heartfelt gratitude to the San Jose Pili National High School community for making this possible. We are looking forward to more opportunities to share our expertise with the school and community to educate our children.
Again, let's help our community break off the stigma that we are facing right now. We are encouraging everyone to know their status by getting tested, being educated and being protected.
Till our next HIV/AIDS Awareness Mission 🎗️
