As part of the DepEd DRRM Cleanup and Clearing Operations (CUCO) Project, Pilar Rural High School successfully completed the configuration, testing, and deployment of its Wireless Intercom Communication System, a significant step toward strengthening campus-wide communication and emergency preparedness.

The newly installed system connects key offices and departments, enabling faster coordination, real-time information dissemination, and immediate response during emergencies and critical situations. Through this initiative, communication barriers are minimized, ensuring that important messages reach the right people at the right time.

More than just a technological upgrade, this project reflects PRHS's commitment to creating a SAFE, RESILIENT, and DISASTER-READY learning environment where the welfare of learners, teachers, and personnel remains a top priority.

Every second matters during emergencies—and with this wireless intercom system now fully operational, Pilar Rural High School is better equipped to respond, coordinate, and protect.

Pilar Rural High School proudly marks another milestone with the successful installation of the Long-Range MS790 Siren, a project funded through the Cleanup and Clearing Operations (CUCO) Special Fund of the Department of Education – Schools Division of Abra.

This significant development strengthens our disaster preparedness initiatives and serves as a clear manifestation of our commitment to building a SAFE, RESILIENT, and DISASTER-READY school and community. The siren will play a vital role in ensuring timely warnings and coordinated responses during emergencies, helping protect the lives of learners, personnel, and stakeholders.

Special recognition is likewise extended to our dedicated DRRM Coordinator, Ezrah Francis Bobby Bersalona, whose initiative, commitment, and tireless efforts were instrumental in making this project a reality. His leadership continues to advance the culture of preparedness and resilience in our school.

Together, we remain steadfast in creating a learning environment where safety is everyone's responsibility and preparedness is a way of life.

Pilar Rural High School successfully conducted its School Orientation with PCPT Allan Angelo Rojo, Acting Chief of Police,Pilar MPS, empowering learners with valuable knowledge on safety, discipline, and responsible citizenship.
