PTC CHESS Team

Format of the Tournament

Single Elimination: Both players will play Black and White each match.

Initial Match-ups: Players are paired up for the first round of matches randomly.

Elimination: The loser of each match is immediately out of the tournament.

Advancement: To determine the winner who advances to the next round to play against another winner they must score 2-1 or 2-0.

Champion: This continues until only one player remains, who is then crowned the tournament champion.

Rules and Regulation: Time Control, Violations, Scoring and Tie Breaking system will be discussed by the officials before the start of the Tournament.

Please be on time: Once the game starts, latecomers will not be allowed to catch up.

- Date: Every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (Room 302)
- Time: 1:00PM - 5:00 PM
- Venue: PTC ITRED (Brgy. Sto. Rosario Silangan Pateros)
