Creaolav A group of young people with broad common interest who are organized to serve the Our Lady of the Abandoned Vicariate, Its parishes and God.

According to the Gospel of John, ang greatest command ni Kristo ay mahalin natin ang isa’t-isa katulad ng pagmamahal Niya sa atin.

But, can anyone actually fulfill this commandment?

Kaya mo bang magmahal ng isang tao to the full extent that Jesus loves you?

Ang pagmamahal na mayroon Siya ay nagmula pa sa Ama na Siyang pundasyon nito. Jesus is the vine and the Father is the vinedresser— the one who cultivates the vine. Paano naramdaman ni Jesus ang pagmamahal ng Ama? He was not given material rewards, rather, an infinite sense of belonging.

Tayo, bilang Kanyang mga sanga, ay inaasahang magbunga ng marami. Gaya Niya, mararanasan natin ang uri ng pagmamahal na walang hangganan - as long as we remain in His love.

John 15:1-8

Jesus said to his disciples:
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower.
He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit,
and every one that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit.
You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you.
Remain in me, as I remain in you.
Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own
unless it remains on the vine,
so neither can you unless you remain in me.
I am the vine, you are the branches.
Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit,
because without me you can do nothing.
Anyone who does not remain in me
will be thrown out like a branch and wither;
people will gather them and throw them into a fire
and they will be burned.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you,
ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you.
By this is my Father glorified,
that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.”

" 𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐝'𝐬 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲?

In today's Gospel, Jesus reminds us that we are connected to Him, His love connects to us. There are also times that we do not feel Him and we are tested. This just means that we are being "pruned to produce more fruit". God does channels immense love to us and sometimes gives challenges that we cannot handle to show that He is there, connected to us, loving us, and He can handle what we cannot. When we feel challenged, when we don't feel praying, when we run dry, persevering in faith is itself a prayer. (CCC 2729-2733)."

When we do not feel praying, may you remind us of how magnificent Your love can be. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
