𝑶𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉 & 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝑾𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍.

At W.G.S., we are committed to teaching our students the purpose, importance, and heart of GOD's Mission. Missions Month is a special time when our learners discover how GOD calls HIS people to share the Gospel and serve others across nations and cultures.

As 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝟏𝟑:𝟒𝟕 (𝐄𝐒𝐕) says, "𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡."

In addition to this, we will also observe United Nations Month, which is a meaningful opportunity to teach our learners about the different countries of the world, each one created and loved by GOD. Through this, we encourage our students to pray for the children of other nations, that they too may grow up with the opportunity to hear about JESUS CHRIST and receive HIM as their personal LORD and SAVIOR.

Throughout October, students will engage in Bible-based lessons, missionary stories, interactive activities, and guided prayer sessions centered on global missions. We pray that all people, in every corner of the world, will have the opportunity to hear and read the Gospel, and that GOD would raise up faithful workers to go and make JESUS known among every tribe, language, and nation.

Join us as we lift up the nations in prayer, support our Mission partners, and raise a generation with a heart for the Great Commission-committed to sharing the Light of JESUS CHRIST with the world.

We praise YOU for the opportunity to begin again, and for every student YOU have entrusted to us for this season of learning and growth.

LORD, grant us the wisdom that comes from YOU alone.

Help us to teach with clarity, patience, and purpose—always pointing our students toward truth, character, and excellence.

We commit the entire school year to YOU.
May our classrooms reflect YOUR presence and our words reflect YOUR heart.
