𝐉𝐑𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐊 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟏𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲
In an exuberant showcase of culture and unity, JRMSU-Katipunan actively participated in the 110th Araw ng Katipunan Closing Ceremony held at the Outdoor Stage in the Municipal Plaza, Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte on February 2, 2023, at 2:00 in the afternoon.
The celebration commenced with a mass, followed by a series of dynamic dance presentations and remarkable speeches from highly respected individuals in the field of politics and public service. Notably, JRMSU-K made a significant contribution to the festivities by presenting a captivating dance performance led by the dynamic campus administrator, Dr. Carina A. Romarate.
Honorable Mayor Jose Michael Meiko A. Wong expressed his delight during the celebratory speech, stating, "Karong kahapuna dili matukib ang akong kalipay ang among kalipay sa local government unit nga kamo nakigduyog, nakigduyog sa atong selebrasyon sa closing."
The entire Katipunan plaza was transformed into a lively spectacle, adorned with vibrant colors and diverse booths from participating barangays, public and private institutions, and organizations. JRMSU-K actively engaged in the booth-making contest and proudly received the Katipunero's Choice Award, earning over 2.4k reactions on social media and a monetary prize of five thousand pesos.
Following the series of dynamic dance presentations and speeches, the entire Katipunan community relished the Pista sa Nayon, including JRMSU-K. Faculty, staff, and students gathered, enjoying a communal dinner with their packed meals, fostering a sense of camaraderie and unity among the JRMSU-K family.
The festivities concluded on a high note with a breathtaking fireworks display and live band, creating an atmosphere of joy and merriment as people danced the night away. The 110th Araw ng Katipunan Closing Ceremony was a testament to the community's spirit and shared celebration and the success of the current administration, leaving a lasting impression on the residents of Katipunan.

The audience gathered at the Katipunan municipal gymnasium to witness JRMSU Katipunan's performances during the JRMSU-K night, part of the week-long celebration of Araw ng Katipunan on January 29, 2024.
The event infused a lively vibe as two students enacted a skit discussing the talents of the Illustrados at JRMSU Katipunan in front of a hand-painted gate of the university.
Katipunan Illustrados prepared several performances and colorful installations to celebrate the university's diversity, especially highlighting the rich culture of the Philippines.
The performances included Subanen courtship, Pagapir, Vocal solo kundiman, Sayaw sa pag-ibig, Group singing by the JRMSU-K acapella glee club, Pandanggo sa ilaw, Tinikling, Sayaw sa bangko, Contemporary dance, Street dance, and a Live band.
The event concluded with a "dance for all," where all performers gathered to dance the "Kinang Pilipinas" wearing and showcasing their cultural clothing, emphasizing the rich cultural diversity of the Philippines.

𝐈𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫
JRMSU-K students and staff were full of enthusiasm as they welcome the 2nd Semester for School Year 2023-2024 at the Campus' Covered Court on January 22, 2024.
The audience was riled up by the energetic Opening Salvo led by the Bachelor in Physical Education (BPE) students.
"This will be the start of the grind to finish the academic year", stated by the Campus Administrator, Dr. Carina A. Romarate as she delivered her Opening Remarks. Dr. Romarate emphasized the importance of having the students' enrollment validated as the semester starts.
"Pakulo" organized by the Supreme Student Government (SSG) included Bring Me and Guess the Lyrics. Winners are awarded with prizes.
The Indakan Dance Troupe set the stage with their amazing intermission number dancing to the famous pop songs of our time.
Right after the most exhilirating performance from the Indakan Dance Troupe, an introduction of the Associate Deans from different Colleges was led by the Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Services, Dr. Rolando P. Romasasa.
A final dance performance, "Dance for All" was led by the BPE students and SSG officers to end the welcoming of students for the new Academic Year. The annual tradition of the School Wave marked the start of the new semester.
The congregation ended with a Closing Remarks by Dr. Romasasa.
