VECTRUM advances to 2026 Master Dengue Slayer National Finals

Team “VECTRUM” of Pasay City National Science High School (PCNSciHS) secured a spot in the Top 10 National Finalists of the Master Dengue Slayer Challenge 2026.

Organized by JA Philippines and Asia Dengue Voice & Action (ADVA), the competition gathered over 180 teams from across the country to present innovative dengue awareness and prevention campaigns.

Representing PCNSciHS were students, Rolando D. Teves Jr., Ma. Cassandra Aia A. Francisco, and Ken Aldwinn C. Castillo under the guidance of coach Aizah Agub-Ariz.

Their project, titled DengEYE Bantay-Kagat, earned recognition as one of the country’s top-performing entries and the sole NCR qualifier in the national finalists list.

The team will advance to the final online presentation round, where finalists will compete for the national title and a chance to represent the Philippines in the Asia Pacific Finals during the 9th Asia Dengue Summit in Singapore on June 17, 2026.
