On May 23, 2026, the CBSUA – Pasacao Campus ROTC Unit under the 502nd CDC, SRCDG, RESCOM, PA successfully conducted its Graduation and Turnover of Command Ceremony at the Multi-Purpose Building.

The ceremony formally commenced at 1300H with the Turnover of Command to C/CPT Ian James Ilano 2CL, marking the transition of leadership within the ROTC Unit. This was followed by the Oath Taking Ceremony at 1330H, symbolizing the cadets’ commitment to service, discipline, and responsibility.

At 1400H, the Graduation Ceremony officially began with the Entrance of Colors led by C/2LT Mark John Barrameda 3CL, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and Invocation.

ROTC Coordinator Jay B. Espinosa delivered the Welcome Remarks, while NSTP Coordinator Prof. Carlo M. Cornejo shared his message of encouragement. MAJ JUNALD V LACSAMANA, ASCOM, presented the graduates, and University Commandant COL FEROZALDO PAUL T REGENCIA, formally declared them graduated. Certificates were awarded together with Hon. Mayor Niño A. Tayco and Prof. Cornejo.

Assoc. Prof. Bessy B. Ronda delivered her message of support to the graduates and cadets. COL REGENCIA also led the induction of new reservists, while CPT GERARDO M. ATIENZA JR. administered the Oath of Enlistment. Meanwhile, LTC ARNEL D. FABRIAGA, Director of the 502nd CDC, conveyed the message from the ROTC Superintendent, COL RONIE T. EBARETA, Group Commander of the 5th RCDG.

C/PVT Sheena Heart Nedia 4CL and C/PVT Hazel Tomo 4CL introduced the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Hon. Niño A. Tayco, who delivered an inspiring message centered on leadership, service, and patriotism. A token of appreciation was later presented in recognition of his invaluable support and presence.

The ceremony concluded with the mass singing of the CBSUA Hymn, Awit Kawal, and Pilipinas Kong Mahal led by the CBSUA Band, celebrating the successful culmination of the training year and the smooth transition of leadership.

The event reflected the ROTC Unit’s continued dedication to producing disciplined, patriotic, and service-oriented student reservists committed to nation-building.
