USJ-R Elementary Department

The journey toward another year of excellence begins.

The University of San Jose–Recoletos Elementary Department officially commenced its In-Service Training 2026 in preparation for the Academic Year 2026–2027. Guided by the theme, "Strengthening Instructional Practice through Curriculum Alignment, Assessment, Quality Assurance, and Emerging Educational Innovations," the faculty gathered for an afternoon of meaningful discussions, strategic planning, and collaborative preparation.

The afternoon session featured a Welcome Message from Mrs. Marie Zar G. Balanay, Activity Program Coordinator, followed by an Inspirational Talk from Rev. Fr. James Dexter R. Tanquis, OAR, Basic Education Director. Faculty members were also oriented on the INSET 2026 theme and program through a presentation by Mrs. Jenelyn L. Longos, Elementary Principal.

To ensure readiness for the new academic year, department leaders presented the Annual Operational Plan, highlighting priorities and initiatives that will guide the school's direction for the year ahead. The session concluded with class sectioning activities facilitated by the Grade 6 advisers, paving the way for an organized and purposeful opening of classes.

As we prepare to welcome our pupils back to school, we remain steadfast in our commitment to excellence, innovation, and transformative education.
