The RHU Parang Newborn Prickers Team continues to champion the importance of Newborn Screening, a simple yet life-saving test that helps detect certain congenital and metabolic disorders before symptoms appear. Early detection means early intervention, giving babies the best chance to grow healthy and reach their full potential.
Through Newborn Screening, conditions that may lead to intellectual disability, developmental delays, or serious health complications can be identified and managed at an early stage. This small prick can make a big difference in your child’s future.

Patuloy na inilalapit ng Rural Health Unit of Parang ang serbisyong pangkalusugan sa bawat komunidad sa pamamagitan ng PuroKalusugan.

Matagumpay na naisagawa ang PuroKalusugan sa Sitio Talisay, Barangay Cotongan, kung saan iba't ibang serbisyong pangkalusugan ang naihatid sa mga residente:

✅ Medical Consultation – 10
✅ PhilPEN Risk Assessment – 5
✅ Random Blood Sugar (RBS) – 2
✅ Hypertension/Diabetes Follow-up – 2
✅ Health Education Sessions – 3
✅ Immunization Services – 3
✅ Postpartum Visit – 1

Ang gawaing ito ay bahagi ng patuloy na layunin ng RHU Parang na mapalapit ang dekalidad na serbisyong pangkalusugan sa bawat purok at masiguro ang mas malusog na pamayanan.
