[ALAYON UPDATE] 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗠𝗦. 𝗡𝗘𝗟 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗘 𝗗𝗘 𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗔 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗥. 𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗡̃𝗢

Through Project Alayon, with the invaluable support of the DNSC community, we successfully raised and turned over a total of ₱479.00 to Ms. Nel Anne De Rosa, a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English 2-B student, to assist with her late grandmother's final medical expenses. Additionally, ₱548.00 was handed over on February 3, 2026, to provide medical assistance for Mr. Soreño, father of Glyza Soreño, a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems 4-B student, who is currently undergoing dialysis treatment. These contributions reflect our shared commitment to transparency and compassionate support for those in need. Thank you to all donors.

This initiative shines with the true compassion and unity of our DNSC community—students and supporters joining hands to lift families in their darkest hours. Every contribution, big or small, eases real burdens and kindles hope when it's needed most.

Our fellow student, Jayrico Grancho (BS Entrepreneurship 4-B), was shot in Carmen on January 7, 2026 and is currently confined at the Regional Hospital.

In response, Project Alayon, through the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson, successfully handed over a total of ₱4,000 in monetary assistance to the ILEGG-LSG External Secretary to help support Jayrico’s medical expenses. This action was carried out in accordance with Project Alayon’s internal rules and regulations.

Let us continue to keep Jayrico in our thoughts and prayers.

In response to a situation of hardship, the Federal Student Government through Project Alayon formally calling on the DNSC community to support Nel Anne De Rosa, a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English 2-B, whose grandmother is in need of financial assistance for operation and medication.

‎This donation drive is being requested by the classmate and a close friend of the beneficiary, Jerrelyn A. Moroncil, in hopes of easing the family's financial burden during this challenges.

‎This initiative is purely voluntary and any amount will be deeply appreciated and make a big impact, as every contribution brings hope and support to the family.

In its continuous effort to stand with students and their families during difficult times, the DNSC Federal Student Government has extended financial assistance to David Joshua Sabus Dinampo, a BPA 4B student whose father, Jose Lameda Dinampo Jr., has been undergoing ongoing medical care.

This support was provided to help ease the family’s financial burdens as they continue to navigate a challenging and emotionally heavy period. The gesture reflects the FSG’s commitment to ensuring that students facing personal hardship receive meaningful help when they need it most.

Through this act of compassion, the Federal Student Government reaffirms its dedication to fostering unity, empathy, and collective care within the DNSC community. A fellow student, Rhandy Rolm G. Sacala from BSMB 2B, is seeking help in finding his Nike FLYBY MID 3 shoes, which went missing after their UTS class in AB 1-5 around 1–2 PM at November 11, 2025 (Tuesday).

The shoes were last seen wrapped in a blue plastic and placed inside a blue eco bag.

He returned to the same room for his next subject, P.E. (3–5 PM), but unfortunately, the item was already gone. If anyone happened to see or may have found it, kindly reach out through Facebook: Rhandy Rolm / Rhandy Sacala (no profile).

A member of the DNSC community, Marvin B. De Ramos Jr. of BSIS 4D, is currently hospitalized due to kidney stones and other illnesses. As he focuses on his recovery, his family is also navigating the heavy burden of medical expenses.

In times like these, let us come together, not just as fellow students, but as compassionate individuals, to offer Marvin and his family assistance through this donation drive. This will aid in covering some of the expenses and essential needs for his medication, allowing them to focus on what truly matters: Marvin's health and recovery.

On November 4, 2025, the Province of Cebu was struck by Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi), resulting in a severe catastrophe, a state of calamity, and a nationwide death toll.

In response to this urgent and compelling need for relief and humanitarian assistance, and pursuant to Executive Order No. 10, the Federal Student Government (FSG), in partnership with the Panabo City Youth Development Office's 'Youth Bayanihan: Piso para sa Cebu,' formally launches the donation drive titled “Alayon sa Sugbo 2.0” to facilitate immediate relief and support for Typhoon Tino victims in Cebu.

Guidelines for Participation:

1. All DNSC students are enjoined to extend voluntary contributions, as a concrete expression of the DNSC Core Values of Stewardship and Love of God and Country.

2. The Alayon sa Sugbo 2.0 Donation Drive SHALL ACCEPT MONETARY DONATIONS ONLY.

3. Class Mayors and Class Treasurers are hereby mandated to facilitate the collection of voluntary contributions from their respective constituents, ensuring all donations are formally recorded.

4. The collection of donations will be conducted from NOVEMBER 10 to NOVEMBER 12, 2025, ONLY during free time.

5. Upon completion of the collection, Class Mayors or Treasurers shall immediately remit all collected amounts to the Treasurer of their respective Program-Based Organization (PBO).

6. All donations collected under this initiative shall be duly transmitted to the Panabo City Youth Development Office (PCYDO).

As part of the DNSC Federal Student Government’s continuing initiative through Project ALAYON, the office officially turned over the 30% allocated donation to Mr. Jhon Lloyd Longyapon, a BSFT 4A student residing in San Ignacio, Manay, Davao Oriental, who was among those severely affected by the recent earthquake in the region.

The donation was personally handed by FSG President Rodney Jhon Gonzales and Project Alayon Chairperson Angelo Dandoy, symbolizing the spirit of unity and service that defines the DNSC student community.

This allocation—outlined in Section 6 of Executive Order No. 08—serves as a reserved fund dedicated to extending monetary assistance to DNSC students in need, ensuring that compassion begins within our very own institution.

Through this act of benevolence, the Federal Student Government reaffirms its commitment to foster empathy, solidarity, and genuine service among DNSCians. Driven by a shared passion for service and commitment to our co-Dabawenyos, the students of Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) united to collect ₱26,813.72 for the 'Alayon sa Dabaw' donation drive.

In accordance with Section 6 of Executive Order 08 — 30% of the collected funds was reserved to support DNSC students affected by the Southern Mindanao earthquake. From the remaining amount, ₱739.68 was used for cash-out and transfer processes, resulting in ₱18,168.32 being successfully transferred to Davao Oriental State College on October 27, 2025, and received on November 04, 2025.

This contribution provides direct support for families affected by the earthquake in Davao Oriental, serving as a beacon of hope and a reminder that the DNSC community stands in solidarity with them during these challenging times.

From the bottom of our hearts, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to this cause and to Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) for being the bridge that allowed us to extend this help to those in need. Your support has been invaluable in making this project a reality.

The missing belongings include a Lovito brand topin blue and white color and a pair of trousers with a black belt, reportedly last seen in IC Lounge, AB 3-1, or AB 3-3 on October 27, 2025.
