All first-year students actively gathered and participated in the seminar. We sincerely thank our guest speaker, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲 𝐁. 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐞, 𝐑𝐏𝐌, for sharing his valuable insights on how to thrive in college life. He emphasized that college is different from previous school years and comes with various challenges such as financial difficulties, academic burnout, and mixed emotions. He highlighted the importance of acknowledging these emotions as part of understanding oneself throughout the college journey.

Mr. Tabaque also shared practical coping skills and strategies to help students manage the demands of college life. The seminar concluded with the reminder that college is a journey toward independence, responsibility, and self-initiative.

The Guidance Office extends its heartfelt gratitude to our guest speaker for his time, wisdom, and meaningful contribution to our students’ growth and well-being.

Last November 17, 2025, our Conference Hall became a hub of insight and collaboration as we held the 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫-𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐧 “𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐌𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞.” Under the guidance of our esteemed speaker, 𝑴𝒓𝒔. 𝑱𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒆 𝑺. 𝑵𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒛, 𝑴𝑨𝑬𝑫, 𝑹𝑮𝑪, the event highlighted the essential role of faculty members in enhancing student performance and staff members in meeting customer needs through strong relationship-building and responsive service.

The morning session was dedicated to our faculty members, focusing on academic support, student monitoring, and the crucial impact of a well-implemented referral system on student success. In the afternoon session, our staff members engaged in meaningful discussions centered on effective customer relations, institutional responsiveness, and addressing customer needs with professionalism and care.

As we move forward with the insights gained, we renew our commitment to nurturing both student growth and customer satisfaction. By strengthening collaboration, compassion, and professionalism, we continue building an academic community that responds effectively to learner needs and embraces the importance of exceptional customer care. ✨📘

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

An insightful event took place on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹, led by the Guidance Advocates of the APCI Guidance Office. The event was the Peer Facilitators Training-Seminar for the members and officers of the APCI Peer Facilitator Society.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Resource Speaker, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐬, 𝐑𝐏𝐌, 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐀, a former Grand Peer whose expertise and experience enlightened the participants about the vital role of Peer Facilitators in promoting mental health awareness, peer support, referral systems, and understanding their professional and ethical boundaries.

It was a whole-day event filled with learning and engagement. In the morning session, the peer facilitators attentively listened as topics on the role of peer facilitators, identifying peers in need, the referral process, limitations of peer support, and ethical responsibilities were discussed.

During the afternoon session, the participants showcased their learning through role-playing, feedback sharing, team-building activities, and an open forum, where they reflected on their insights and experiences.

The day concluded with the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the Peer Facilitator Officers, affirming their commitment to serve as helping hands within the APCI community.

Due to the recent earthquake in the Davao Region, the APCI Guidance Office extends its care and support to all students who may be feeling anxious, distressed, or affected in any way.

The 𝗔𝗣𝗖𝗜 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 offers both in-person and Online Psychological First Aid (PFA) to support students affected by the recent event.
