From thousands of K–12 learners across public and private schools, our very own SciAmazing Rizalian emerged victorious at the National Rounds of the ASIAROPE Science Olympiad and is qualified to be part of the Philippine Team to the International Round to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on August 30 – September 02, 2025.

05.03.2024 | In a remarkable display of scientific prowess and entrepreneurial spirit, the 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 under the 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦) section of Rizal Elementary School have embarked on an innovative project, aptly named 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿. Under the guidance of their Master Teacher and Adviser, Melody Gomez-Baylon, these budding scientists have delved into the realm of mixtures, culminating in the 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗱.

The primary objective of the SciEntrepreneur Project is twofold: to apply science concepts on mixtures in a practical setting and to foster entrepreneurial skills among students. Moreover, the project emphasizes environmental sustainability by employing plastic bottles in line with the Reduce-Reuse-Recycle-Respond mantra.

Not content with merely mastering scientific principles and business insight, these young innovators have also set their sights on giving back to the community. Proceeds from the sale of their eco-friendly dishwashing liquid will be channeled towards community extension programs, particularly benefiting children. What's notable is that these initiatives will be spearheaded by the learners themselves, showcasing not only their scientific and entrepreneurial talents but also their leadership and social responsibility.

The realization of the SciEntrepreneur Project wouldn't have been possible without the generous support of partners and stakeholders. Minute Waters Refilling Station and Farmacia Nikko with Michelle U. Usman, Proprietor, have lent their assistance to ensure the success of this endeavor.

The Department of Education (DepEd) Panabo City, led by OIC-Superintendent Jinky B. Firman, CESO VI, and Assistant Superintendent Basilio P. Mana-ay Jr., CESO VI, has expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the innovative efforts of Rizal Elementary School. They commend the learners for their competence and excellence in applying scientific knowledge for a meaningful outcome, which undoubtedly sets a shining example for future generations.

The 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 stands as a testament to the boundless potential of education to inspire creativity, instill values, and effect positive change in society. As these young scientists-turned-entrepreneurs pave the way for a brighter future, their journey serves as an inspiration to us all.
