Reflecting on Sustainable Choices

In our Part 2 post of the January 4 sustainability activity, the youth of Drydock, Palompon, Leyte, took time to reflect on what they learned.

After the mercado trip, Ate Kate, our educator led an insightful discussion, asking the teams about their thoughts on plastic waste when buying everyday products. The conversation was eye-opening, with everyone realizing just how much plastic waste accumulates when we make everyday purchases.

To celebrate their commitment to sustainability, we gifted each participant an eco-bag with a water tumbler—a reminder to carry forward the sustainable practices they’ve learned.
