𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜: PIT Graduate Students Hold 2nd Hooding Ceremony
The graduating students from the College of Graduate Studies (CGS) of Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT) held the second hooding ceremony at the Palompon Civic Center (PCC) in recognition of their entry into the community of scholars on June 1.
The program opened with an academic processional of graduate candidates, faculty members, program chairs, the Administrative Council, the dean of graduate studies, the OIC president, and the keynote speaker.
OIC President Dr. Nelson N. Enage opened the program, reminding participants, “May this milestone remind you that learning never ends, leadership never rests, and service never loses its value.”
Master’s and doctoral candidates lined up in procession to wear the academic hood, a rite that symbolized their formal entry into the scholarly life.
As the event concluded, OIC-Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) Dr. Jennifer A. Gorumba reminded the graduating students to use their knowledge not only to advance their careers but also to strengthen institutions and give back to society.
The event highlighted the graduates’ pursuit of academic excellence while marking each milestone in their scholarly journey.
