1st Joint Quarterly meeting of Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) and Local council for Anti-Trafficking-Violence Against Women and Their Children (LCAT-VAWC)

OOA 9:00AM of March 1, 2023, Personnel of this Station,under the direct supervision of PCPT IAN T MACATANGAY, OIC attended the joint 1st quarter Meeting of Local Council for the Protection of Children and Local Council for Anti-trafficking-Violence Against Women and Their Children initiated by Mrs Maricam Esparcia,SWOII.This meeting aims to coordinate with other agency councils and other similar structures and mechanism for synchronization and harmonization of actions on the legal protection of women and children.

Women and Children are one of the most Fragile and vulnerable sector of the society in terms of fraud and violence,thus they need to be protected by the state to fully ensure their safety.

The meeting tackled on the status of the number of cases transpired in the area of Oslob Municipality.Plans and Programs for Women and Children to ensure their well-being,Brief Evaluation of the VAWC and VAC cases, Development that ubderscores commitment towards protecting women and children through VAWC and safeguarding the personal safety and security of Oslobanon. The said activity held at the Social Hall of the Municipality of Oslob Cebu.
