The recently concluded 2024 Trade Mission to the Republic of Korea by the Philippines-Korea Economic Council, led by its Chairman Mr. Robert Laurel Yupangco, Chairman and CEO of Yupangco Group of Companies, marks another significant milestone in strengthening economic and cultural ties between the Philippines and Korea. Held from August 25 to 29, the mission aimed to gather critical insights and explore new business opportunities for Filipinos interested in venturing into the Korean market.

Among the distinguished participants was Rico Emmanuel A. Pineda, CLDP, President and CEO of REAP SUCCESS Talent Development Services, OPC. As an Associate Director of the Council and the incoming Chairman of the Philippines-Korea Economic Council Youth, Mr. Pineda actively contributed to this strategic initiative which was Chaired by SPD Jobs Inc. President and CEO and Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Quezon City President Emeritus, Sarah Deloraya-Mateo, and Co-Chaired by Philippine Airlines President and COO Captain Stanley Ng. His participation also aimed to gain a deeper understanding of how the industry of Talent Development and Human Resource (HR) Development can serve as a strategic arm for businesses.
