Reliving the "CHUNLI" piece after a year of resting in our archive. π
We were asked about the reason why and how we created CHUNLI. Why we chose her to be the representative of ASIAN EXCELLENCE.
For Your Information;
Chun-Li is one of the most culturally significant figures in gaming history. Her character serves as a bridge between traditional Chinese aesthetics and Japanese pop culture, evolving from a "token" female character into a global icon of empowerment.
To answer your question. YES every single details, segment and music choices to create such remarkable PIECE are well intended, connected and CORRECT in all aspects.
No. We don't have wrong song choices while creating CHUNLI concept. from Tokyo Drift to magic card and morning knight with a hint of vouge (since vouge is one of our signature genre)
Every single song choices are connected. They represent the playful side of JAPAN and CHINA. As their representative/president "Toshi" mentioned yesterday, D'KWEENZ chose this concept to pay homage to one of the ASIAN/GAY icon in GAMING AND ANIME culture not just in asia but GLOBALLY. That is what our concept is about.
We do understand the lack of knowledge when it comes to creating such advance concept that won COUNTLESS times of thropies in OLONGAPO, NORTHERN ZAMBALES, even OUTSIDE our province.
This concept recieved alot of praise and trophies not just local but also ON A NATIONAL AND TELEVISION LEVEL.
with the help of some of the best choreographers this nation has to offer. π
