𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗢 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗜𝗙𝗜 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗛 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗧. 𝗝𝗢𝗛𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗧, 𝗖𝗔𝗕𝗔, 𝗟𝗔 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗡

On the Third Sunday after Pentecost and WIFI Sunday, June 14, 2026, the Solemn Rite of Blessing and Rededication of the Altar was officiated by the Bishop of the Diocese of La Union and Abra, Rt. Rev. Nixon Jose, assisted by the Parish Priest, Rev. Mars D. Batay-an.

The new retablo and sanctuary of the IFI Parish of St. John the Baptist in Poblacion Norte, Caba, La Union represent a thoughtful enhancement of the existing sanctuary. Rather than replacing the past, the project builds upon it, preserving what is valuable while introducing improvements that enrich the worship experience.

The design follows our guiding principle of beautifying and improving church structures with the least possible financial cost and with minimal alteration to the existing building. It also reflects our commitment to honoring the efforts of previous generations. By preserving key elements of the old sanctuary, former leaders, sponsors, and donors can continue to see and appreciate the fruits of their contributions while supporting the church's ongoing development.

Designed with simplicity, beauty, and reverence in mind, the sanctuary primarily uses white and gold tones to create an atmosphere that reflects the glory and majesty of God. The overall concept seeks to inspire prayer, devotion, and a deeper awareness of the sacred presence of Christ in worship, in keeping with Article of Religion No. 9 of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente.

We extend our warmest greetings and best wishes to Rev. Manuel Mones Pachoca, the Parish Council, and the faithful members of IFI Bautista, Pangasinan, as they continue this meaningful church project. We pray for the smooth progress and successful completion of the church façade.

The façade of IFI Bautista was designed by JakStone Engineering and Design in 2022. It is a special project for us as it is the last church façade we designed featuring stone cladding.
