𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫: 𝐂𝐨-𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟑𝟎

Romblon State University, through the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, Development and Innovation (REDi), in partnership with the Philippine Extension and Advisory Services Network, Inc. (PhilEASNet), is set to conduct a workshop with the theme, "Building the Future Together: Co-Creating the Archipelagic Research and Extension Agenda for 2026–2030," on July 20–22, 2026, at the RSU Hostel, Brgy. Liwanag, Odiongan, Romblon.

This three-day strategic planning workshop will bring together REDi personnel, ESCEO Chairpersons from the different colleges and campuses, and ESCEO personnel to collaboratively develop Romblon State University's integrated Research and Extension Agenda and Roadmap for 2026–2030. Guided by the KomUNIBERSIDAD Framework, the workshop aims to strengthen research, innovation, technology transfer, and community engagement to better serve the island communities of Romblon.

The workshop will be guided by the following distinguished Technical Consultants:

🔹 Dr. Christian Leubert C. Milambiling – University of the Philippines Los Baños
🔹 Dr. Raquel G. Agustin – Cavite State University
🔹 Dr. Felino J. Gutierrez, Jr. – Southern Luzon State University
🔹 Dr. Fernando V. Magdato, Jr. – University of Southeastern Philippines

Through this collaboration with PhilEASNet, Romblon State University reaffirms its commitment to strengthening partnerships, fostering innovation, and shaping a responsive, inclusive, and sustainable future for research and extension across the archipelago.

Romblon State University continues to strengthen its commitment to social innovation and community development.

Representing Romblon State University as the Tatak SE Focal Person, Dr. Sherryll M. Fetalvero participated in the 2nd Quarter Meeting of the Tatak SE Odiongan Council, where RSU serves as the Lead Institution for the Academe Sector.

The meeting brought together representatives from the local government, national government agencies, cooperatives, MSMEs, people's organizations, NGOs, the private sector, and the academe to review the progress of the Tatak SE Strategic Plan, discuss priority social enterprise initiatives, and identify collaborative actions that will further strengthen partnerships and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for the community.

As the lead institution for the Academe Sector, Romblon State University remains committed to supporting the advancement of social entrepreneurship through education, research, extension, and innovation, contributing to inclusive and sustainable local development.
