Teachers, students, parents, and community stakeholders officially kicked off Brigada Eskwela 2026 this week at Carlos P. Garcia Senior High School in partnership with Sta. Ana National High School and Jose P. Rizal Elementary School, marking the start of a collective effort to prepare the schools for the opening of classes this June 8.

Driven by this yearโ€™s theme, "Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa Para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman," volunteers participated to prepare the schools for the new batch of students for the S.Y. 2026-2027.

At CPGSHS, the five-day clean up drive for the campus centers heavily in uniting for a cleaner and an improved school environment, drawing crucial support from local community partners.

"Donations from parents and partners are very welcome. All donations help in maintaining classroom cleanliness throughout the upcoming school year," Assistant Principal Bernard Cempron emphasized.

One of the major highlights of this yearโ€™s setup in CPGSHS is the strengthened implementation of the Department of Education's (DepEd) Washing in School (WinS) program. The program aims to provide access to better wash facilities, hygiene, and sanitation systems.

Additionally, this year's physical restorations are strategically designed to support critical academic goals, particularly in building comfortable learning environments that can help with studentsโ€™ more effective learning experienced.

Mr. Cempron stressed that providing a highly conducive and safe learning space directly reinforces the school's newly established curriculum.

"One of the main reasons CPGSHS is ready for every school year is because of the help the parents, students, stakeholders, and teachers provide every time," Mr. Cempron shared.

Every single year, the CPGSHS pushes forward with the persistent hope of establishing a cleaner and safer place for its returning learners.

Through this deep-seated collaboration, the volunteers themselves directly benefit from their own unity, proving that a cooperative environment lays the foundation for student success.

Mr. Cempron reminded stakeholders that their ongoing volunteerism serves the greater majority, directly helping incoming students overcome structural and foundational learning challenges.
