On June 1, 2026, the Navotas Polytechnic College Student Council participated in a vital Public Hearing led by City Councilor Hon. Client Geronimo. Alongside NPC's own Dr. Joel Chavez, the student leaders engaged in meaningful discussions with city lawmakers, including City Councilors Hon. Cesar Justine F. Santos, Hon. Lance Angelo E. Santiago, Hon. Arvie John S. Vicencio, and Hon. Reynaldo A. Monroy, as well as SK Federation President Hon. Jodile Cañete. This collaborative space allowed the council to represent the student body's voice directly to the local government, fostering a stronger connection between the youth and the city's policymakers.

​The engagement underscores the importance of active student participation in local governance and community building. By sitting down with our city officials, the NPC Student Council continues to bridge the gap between academic life and civic responsibility, ensuring that the student community remains a priority in Navotas City’s developmental plans.
