Get ready for a week full of fun, learning, and creativity as the English Club of S.Y. 2025–2026 brings you activities that will sharpen your skills and boost your confidence.

November 17 : Spelling Bee🐝
The word list will consist of words related to your current english topic and the theme : “Empowering Voices, One STORY at a time.” Words will be provided by the facilitator. Participants must clearly state the word before and after spelling it. A time limit will be enforced for each word. The final round will feature vocabulary that reflects the importance of English Literature.

November 17 : Reading Ambassador📚
An oratorical/persuasive speech contest for Senior High School students. Participants must deliver the given story clearly towards Junior High School Students.

November 18 : Big Book Exhibit📒
Group creation of an oversized, illustrated book. The Big Book must tell a story or present a movies, drama, or literatures. Every teams of students will create a Big Book. Text must be handwritten or printed in large, and readable font. Illustrations must be colorful and original.

November 18 : Extemporaneous Speech🗯️
Participants will receive a topic about “IMPLEMENTING PROJECTS IN NAVOTAS CITY” they will write their full speech and they will deliver the presentation for 3 minutes, with the use of their written script permitted.

November 19: Comics Script Making💭
Theme Integration: The script must tell a short story (a complete narrative arc) about their favourite or choosen movie, and drama visually and through dialogue.

November 20: Character Parade👸
Costume parade and presentation. Students must dress as a character from a book, movie, anime, literature, etc. The choice should be symbolic, connecting a fictional character's essence to the local context. During the presentation, they should show a short scene from the character they potray and introduce their selves, their character, grade & section. Ps. STRICTLY NO DRESSING AS BINI, BATANG QUIAPO, KPOP IDOLS, and other inappropriate dresses.

November 21: Short Film🎥
Group creation of a short, narrative film. The film must be a visual narrative exploring one day in the life of a Navoteño student. It should authentically capture the blend of struggles (e.g., poverty, environmental issues) and joys/community spirit that define their routine. The movie place should be take around Navotas. The time limit is 5 minutes minimum, 7 minutes maximum.

November 21 : Quiz Bee 🐝
The questions will consist of items related to the current English topic of the class and the theme: "Empowering Voices, One S.T.O.R.Y. at a Time." Questions will be provided by the facilitator and may cover literature, grammar, vocabulary, or rhetorical devices. Participants must clearly and verbally state their final answer within the time limit enforced for each question. The final round will feature complex, high-level questions that require critical thinking and reflect the importance of English Literature and the power of narrative.
