Generator Fuel Injection Pump (Diesel)
The fuel injection pump is the heart of a diesel generator’s fuel system. Its job is to meter, pressurize, and time the fuel so it’s injected into each cylinder at the correct moment for efficient combustion.
🔧 Main Functions
Metering – Delivers the exact fuel quantity per cycle
Pressurizing – Raises fuel pressure high enough for proper atomization
Timing – Injects fuel at the precise crank angle
Distribution – Feeds each cylinder in the correct firing order

An Oily Water Separator (OWS) is a mandatory shipboard pollution-prevention system used to treat engine-room bilge water so that oil content is reduced to 15 parts per million (ppm) or less before discharge overboard—in compliance with MARPOL Annex I.
