Matthew 26:31 KJV, is the records the words of Jesus Christ to His disciples before His arrest: “𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝒚𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕: 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒏, 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒔𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒑𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒅, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒌 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒂𝒅.”Jesus was preparing His disciples for the trials that were about to come. He quoted the prophecy of Zechariah to show that His suffering and the scattering of His disciples were part of God’s plan. Although the disciples loved the Lord, fear and confusion caused them to leave Him and flee when He was arrested. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗮𝘀 𝗜𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝗺, just as the Scriptures had foretold.

This verse shows both the weakness of man and the truth of God’s Word. As we reflect on this verse today, we are reminded to trust the Lord during times of testing and uncertainty. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀. Therefore, we should stay close to Christ, stand firm in His Word, and depend on His strength, 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲.

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗶𝘀. 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹!

May the Lord continue to bless you as you faithfully serve Him. May your life continue to bring honor and glory to the Lord, and may He guide your steps, strengthen your faith, and fill your heart with His joy and peace.
