The Commission on Student Elections (ComSElec) officially opens the Filing of Candidacy for the upcoming SSC Special Elections 2026. All interested aspirants are invited to submit their requirements through the official Google Form.

To all Asteans! The BISCAST Commission on Student Elections (ComSElec) hereby announces the commencement of Phase 1 of the Supreme Student Council (SSC) General Elections 2026.

The electoral process officially begins tomorrow, April 25, 2026, with the Filing of Certificates of Candidacy (COC) and other requirements. This initial phase shall cover the following activities:

📝 Filing of COC and other requirements — Apr 25 – May 7, 2026
📋 Evaluation of Credentials — May 7, 2026
🔍 Preliminary Screening of Candidates — May 8, 2026
📢 Announcement of Official Candidates — May 9, 2026
🎤 Campaign Period — May 9 – May 29, 2026

Please be advised that succeeding phases of the election roadmap shall be released incrementally to ensure transparency and orderly dissemination of information.

As per the BISCAST College Code (Chapter XVII, Sec. 317) and Student Handbook, the Loyalty Award shall be bestowed to any College graduating student who completed, in vertical succession, at least two (2) degree programs (secondary, baccalaureate, master's, or doctoral) in the College during the commencement exercises. Provided further that the graduating student did not enroll in another school.
