𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Members of the USI Guides came together to commence their annual Sashing and Pinning Ceremony at the Ozanam Social Hall, today, June 25.

Centered around the theme, "𝗖𝗔𝗘𝗟𝗨𝗠: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲," the event seeks to recognize the commitment and achievements of the organization's members.

The event formally began with a few words of inspiration from the guest speaker, Vanessa Joy Barrio, LPT, as she encouraged the students to never lower ambitions even when things seem difficult or limiting.

"𝗗𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆," she said.

The program highlights the sashing of all first-year members of the organization and the pinning of Guides who have garnered a total of 150 duty hours, showcasing their commitment and active participation.

A special message was then delivered from the USI Guides Founder, Ethan Matthew C. Salva, JD, as he congratulated the batch on their successful term, formally concluding the event.
