The NSTPโCWTS and LTS of Naga College Foundation, Inc. successfully conducted an online webinar on โHIV Awarenessโ and โSexual Health and Reproductive Rights Orientationโ on May 10, 2026, aiming to strengthen studentsโ understanding of sexual health, HIV prevention, and responsible decision-making.
Amid rising HIV cases, especially among the youth, the webinar underscored the urgent need for accurate information, early prevention, and responsible health practices.
The session began with an in-depth discussion on Sexual Health and Reproductive Rights (SHRR), presented by ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ฒ ๐. ๐๐ฅ๐ฏ๐๐ซ, ๐๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ, who emphasized its importance as a foundation for informed choices that directly influence the prevention of HIV and other health risks.
This was followed by ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ ๐. ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐จ, ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ข๐๐จ๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ, who delivered a comprehensive discussion on HIV Awareness and Prevention, emphasizing transmission, protection, early testing, and the importance of eliminating stigma to encourage responsible health-seeking behavior.
The activity successfully strengthened studentsโ knowledge and empowered them to make informed, responsible decisions while becoming active advocates of health, wellness, and community awareness.

In line with the commitment of the National Service Training Program โ Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTPโCWTS) of Naga College Foundation, Inc. to promote civic responsibility and community engagement, the bloodletting activity entitled โDugong NCEANO: Tabang Oragonโ is organized by NSTPโCWTS in partnership with BMC-Bloodbank.
This initiative serves as a platform for voluntary blood donation, contributing to life-saving efforts and extending support to individuals in need of medical assistance. It also aims to strengthen the spirit of volunteerism among stakeholders and foster a culture of compassion and social responsibility within the academic community.
The bloodletting activity will be conducted on April 19, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the Student Pavilion, Naga College Foundation, Inc. The April 19 schedule is designated for the College of Business and Management (CBM), while the remaining colleges, namely the College of Engineering (COE), College of Accountancy and Finance (CAF), College of Computer Studies (CCS), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), and College of Health Sciences (CHS), are scheduled on May 17, 2026.
Let us unite in the spirit of bayanihan and service by sharing the gift of life through blood donation, and together make a meaningful impact to those who need it most.
