Even though it still hurts sometimes when I remember everything, I will always be thankful to his family. His lolo, lola, tito, tita, and his siblings treated me with so much warmth.

For that, I’m truly grateful.

But all of that… is in the past now.

Today, I’m happy.

I’m now in a relationship where I feel respected, loved, and cared for.

And to everything I went through, I just want to say this:

Thank you.
Thank you for the pain.
Thank you for the tears.
Thank you for the lessons.

The ring he once gave me? I threw it into the river. And together with that ring, I let go of the heartbreak, the fake promises, and the version of myself who allowed herself to be hurt again and again.

I didn’t heal because someone saved me.

I healed because I saved myself.

I chose to walk away.
I chose to love myself.
And I let karma take care of the rest.

Now, I’m grateful.

Grateful for the peace in my heart.
Grateful for the strength I never knew I had.

And grateful for my LOVE ----- the one who showed me that real love is calm, kind, and honest.

This is my closure.
This is my goodbye to the past.

is my new beginning.
