𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇 15, 2026—At the CPSC Gymnasium, the 𝐂𝐒𝐏𝐂 341𝐬𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 (𝐍𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔) conducted its eighth training day to wrap up the MS2 cadets’ second‑semester midterm evaluations.

The session opened with a 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 testing the cadets’ grasp of essential naval theory and semester‑long lessons. Immediately after, each platoon moved to the 𝑪𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒆‑𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒍 (𝑪𝑶𝑫) assessment, where cadets displayed precision, discipline, and unit coordination while executing drill commands.

Cadets from 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬, 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞, and 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 completed the written exam alongside a knot‑tying practical, demonstrating speed and accuracy. Additionally, the 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐧 undertook their specialized assessment, ably supported by 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 from the 𝗖𝗦𝗣𝗖 – 𝗖𝗥𝗖𝗬𝗖 (𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹), who assisted in evaluating clinical and emergency‑response proficiency.

𝐅𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐘 22, 2026—At the CPSC Gymnasium, the 𝐂𝐒𝐏𝐂 341𝐬𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 (𝐍𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔) conducted its fifth training day. The activity featured 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 (𝐂𝐎𝐃) exercises alongside a formal lecture on the Rules in Ceremony, delivered by 𝐀𝐒𝐍 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐅𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐒 𝐂 𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐋𝐈 𝐏𝐍 𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐂, 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬 & 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬.

The COD training emphasized 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆, and 𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚—reinforcing synchronized movements, proper response to commands, and military bearing. Through structured drills, cadets further enhanced their coordination, teamwork, and adherence to standard procedures.

During the lecture, 𝐀𝐒𝐍 𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐋𝐈 presented an in-depth discussion on𝑵𝒂𝒗𝒚 2020: 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆, focusing on the 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲, as well as key drill terms and definitions. The session highlighted established 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒔, 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒖𝒎, and 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔 observed in military ceremonies.

MS2 cadets were also guided through fundamental ROTC movements, gaining a clearer understanding of their correct ex*****on and significance in maintaining uniformity and professionalism during drills and ceremonial formations.

This training not only strengthened the cadets’ technical proficiency but also reinforced their commitment to 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆, 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆, and the 𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒔 expected of future naval reservists.
