The Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of La Union have taken on the strategic role of spearheading collaboration with PHilMech to facilitate the implementation of the Registration of Ownership of Agricultural and Fisheries Machines and Equipment System (RAFMES) across it’s city and municipalities.

To reinforce this initiative, PHilMech conducted turnover ceremonies on February 19, 2026, providing each model PLGU with one (1) QR printer as part of the essential hardware support for system deployment.

Registration of Agricultural and Fisheries Machines and Equipment

The PHilMech-Agricultural and Fisheries Mechanization and Engineering Resource Network (AFMechERN) successfully carried out a retooling program for the Municipal LGU of Victoria, Oriental Mindoro, in parallel with the RAFMES Caravan held in two barangays on August 19–20, 2025.

On-site validation of pre-registered farm machineries and equipment

The Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech), in partnership with the Office of the Provincial Agriculture of Negros Oriental, successfully conducted a hands-on training on the Registration of Ownership of Agricultural and Fisheries Machines and Equipment System (RAFMES).

Held on July 23–24, 2025, at the Negros Oriental Convention Center-Plenary Hall in the City of Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, the training was organized in two batches and was participated in by representatives from 23 City/Municipal and Local Government Units (C/MLGUs) within the province.
