CTU–Moalboal officially kicks off AY 2026–2027 Enrollment
Cebu Technological University–Moalboal Campus officially commenced its enrollment period for the academic year 2026–2027, with the 4th-year students leading the admission process at the 1st Floor, Smart Building on July 6, 2026.
The enrollment period is scheduled to run from July 6 until August 12, with the first week designated specifically for 4th-year students across various programs.
According to 4th-year Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Science (BSED-Science) students, this year's enrollment process was notably more efficient and organized.
While the opening day saw a manageable number of enrollees, campus officials anticipate that the volume of students will increase in the coming days.
Moreover, the registrar's office advised all students to strictly adhere to their designated registration dates to sustain the efficiency of the process.
The schedule will continue next week with third-year students enrolling from July 13–17, followed by 2nd-year students from July 20–24, 1st-year students from July 27–31, irregular students from August 3–7, and 4th-year summer students on August 10–12.

CTU tops Region 7 in Midyear 2026 Research Outputs
Cebu Technological University (CTU) has emerged as the top producer of Scopus-indexed research outputs in Region 7 for the midyear of 2026, recording a leading total of 133 publications as released on the Global Health Focus (GHF) University Excellence page on June 28, 2026.
CTU surpassed its closest regional competitors, with the University of San Carlos (USC) securing second place with 70 outputs and Cebu Normal University (CNU) taking third with 39 outputs as of June 27, 2026.
Other institutions contributing to Central Visayas’ midyear research output include the University of the Philippines – Cebu with 26 publications, Bohol Island State University with 25, Cebu Doctors’ University with 12, Cebu Institute of Technology – University with 11, University of San Jose – Recoletos with 10, the University of the Visayas with 4, and the University of Cebu with 3.
While CTU dominated the current 2026 standings, USC maintained the highest total of publications in the region with an overall cumulative total of 1,429 Scopus outputs, followed by CTU at 880 and CNU at 455.
This milestone marked the university’s commitment to producing quality research outputs, solidifying its role as a premier institution in the region.
