“PRAY INSTEAD OF DRINKING WHEN YOU HAVE PROBLEMS”

A police officer accused of pointing a firearm at another person in Antipolo, Dapitan City, has urged the public to avoid drinking alcohol when dealing with personal problems and to turn to prayer instead.

The officer admitted that he allegedly pointed the gun after becoming emotionally overwhelmed by malicious stories and negative remarks he had heard about his wife. He said the incident serves as a lesson that acting under the influence of alcohol and heightened emotions can lead to poor decisions with serious consequences.
