Christianity is the most unique faith because our Savior, Jesus Christ, died and rose again to reconnect mankind to the Creator. Through Him, we are not only saved, we are also given purpose. Life with Christ does not mean a perfect life, but it means a surrendered life. When Jesus becomes the center of everything, our lives become stronger, meaningful, and full of purpose.

We are not simply living day by day without direction. God created each of us for a divine calling: to share the Gospel, because the Gospel is the power of God for salvation. God desires to use our lives, our voices, and our hearts as His ambassadors in this world. While we still have strength and opportunity, we must respond to His calling.

The message reminded us about C-A-T Commitment:

C – Communication
We must communicate Christ to others and boldly speak about Jesus.
A – Action
As long as we still have the ability to serve, we should continue doing what God asks us to do.
T – Time
We must dedicate our time to God and prioritize Him in our lives.

True commitment to God also requires obedience.

In Gospel of Luke 5:1–11, we see the beautiful progression of Peter’s obedience. Jesus first asked Simon Peter for something very simple, to allow Him to use his boat and move it “a little from the land.” It was not a huge request, yet that small act of obedience became the beginning of a transformed life.

God often starts with the small things. He does not always ask us for giant leaps immediately. Sometimes He simply asks for our willingness. That little obedience allowed Jesus to use Peter’s boat as a pulpit to preach to many people.

Later, Jesus told Peter to go deeper and let down the nets again even after they had worked all night and caught nothing. Though Peter was tired and discouraged, he still obeyed because it was Jesus who spoke. And through that obedience, they experienced an overflowing miracle.

This reminds us that even when we feel exhausted in life, we should not stop obeying God. We may rest, but we must never quit. God can bring great harvests from weary hearts that still choose to trust Him.

Peter’s story also teaches us that staying in the shallow waters limits what God can do through us. God sometimes calls us deeper, not to harm us, but so we can experience greater miracles, deeper faith, and a more meaningful purpose.

When Peter witnessed the miracle, he knelt before Jesus in humility and said he was a sinful man. Jesus saw Peter’s willing and submissive heart. God chooses people who are humble enough to acknowledge Him first.

In the end, Jesus told them, “I will make you fishers of men.” Peter and the others left everything and followed Him. Jesus took ordinary people and gave extraordinary meaning to their lives.

The miracle was never only about the fish. The miracle was meant to lead Peter into surrender and transformation. Jesus does not only want to fix our nets, He wants to change our lives.

A mature Christian is not simply someone who knows more about God, but someone who is truly transformed by obedience to Him.

Today’s message from the Book of Joshua Chapter 6 reminded us that victory is not always won through strength, noise, or human strategies. Sometimes, the greatest battles are won through quiet obedience, faith, and complete trust in God.
Through the life of Joshua, we witnessed a powerful example of a flawless victory made possible not by weapons, but by the miracle-working power of God.

Before the Israelites could enter the Promised Land, they first faced Jericho — a city surrounded by strong and impossible-looking walls. In a normal war, soldiers would prepare swords, horses, and battle plans. But God gave Joshua a very unusual instruction: march around the city. Instead of carrying weapons for destruction, they carried trumpets. Instead of relying on military techniques, they carried the Ark of the Covenant — the symbol of God’s presence.

At first, God’s instruction did not look like a strategy for success. It may have seemed pointless or strange. Yet Joshua obeyed fully. Day after day, the people marched in silence, trusting God even when they did not yet see results. And on the seventh day, the walls of Jericho collapsed. Why? Not because of the technique, the marching, or the trumpets — but because of their obedience to God.

This message speaks deeply to our lives today. Many of us are facing our own “walls” — problems, fears, pain, delays, disappointments, and struggles that seem impossible to overcome. But the story of Jericho teaches us that no wall is too strong when God is present. What God asks from us is simple: obey Him, trust His process, and continue walking by faith.

Obedience unlocks blessings, victory, and deliverance. When wisdom is mixed with disobedience, it becomes pride. But when wisdom is joined with obedience, it leads to victory. Joshua experienced breakthrough because he followed God completely. Sometimes God’s instructions may not make sense to us immediately, but His ways always lead to success.

Another powerful lesson from the message is this: fight in silence. For six days, the Israelites were commanded to remain silent. In the same way, there are battles that are won not by arguing, complaining, or creating noise, but by kneeling in prayer and trusting God quietly. There is wisdom in knowing when to speak and when to remain silent before the Lord. When we speak at the right time, our words become seeds of life and encouragement.

The message also reminded us to finish the race. Many people stop just before the breakthrough comes. Sometimes victory is only one more step away, but exhaustion causes people to quit. Joshua and the Israelites kept marching until the very end, and because they endured, they witnessed God’s miracle.
Hebrews 11:30 says, by faith the walls of Jericho fell after they had marched around them for seven days. Faith and victory always go together.

Rahab was also spared because she obeyed God in faith. This reminds us that obedience brings protection and grace. God remains faithful to His promises, and His abiding presence will always guide His people.

As we reflect on today’s message, may we learn to trust God even when the process is difficult or unclear. Let us continue obeying, praying, believing, and moving forward. The battle may be hard, but God is already preparing the victory.
No matter what walls stand before us today, they will fall in God’s perfect time. Just trust the process, obey His voice, and never stop walking in faith.
