DepEd Mapuyo Elementary School

Mapuyo Elementary School actively participated in the 1st National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill together with the BDRRMC. This activity aims to strengthen the preparedness of learners, teachers, and staff in responding to possible earthquake emergencies. Through the practice of the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure #, everyone learned the importance of staying calm, alert, and ready during disasters. Together, we build a safer and more resilient school community.

SAS Validation at Mapuyo Elementary School

Today, November 3, 2025, Mapuyo ES conducted its School SAS (Simplified Activity Sheet) Validation to ensure that every learner has received their copy of the SAS—an essential learning tool provided for learning continuity during calamities.

The validation was facilitated by Michael C. Maagallanes, School Head of Barag ES, who served as the external validator. Learners and parents were present to confirm receipt of the activity sheets and to show their support for continuous education, especially in times when face-to-face classes may be disrupted.

This initiative strengthens our commitment to ensuring that every child continues learning, no matter the circumstances.
