Potatoes, onions, and garlic have similar storage guidelines in that they can all be stored in a cold, dry, dark, and ventilated room; however, potatoes should not be stored with onions since onions generate ethylene gas, which speeds up ripening and causes potatoes to sprout and spoil. However, garlic and onions can be stored together without deteriorating.

Onions cause potatoes to ripen while potatoes can cause onions to liquefy and leak. Avoid storing these two vegetables together even if they prefer the same storage conditions.

A reminder to parents not to force their children to finish the food on their plate, but to portion it out according to how much they needed & consume ( based on Recommended Total Energy Requirement for Children). As well as, parents should know how to address the poor misbehavior of their children at mealtimes. Thus, forcing children to eat facilitates poor eating habits.

You can opt for water instead of sugar-sweetened soft drinks. If you don't like plain water, try other sugar-free or low-calorie beverages, such as fruit-flavoured sparkling water or unsweetened iced tea.

Also, remember that alcoholic drinks can have a lot of calories. 😉
