Habang nagkaka-edad tayo, mas lalong nagiging mahalaga ang pagkakaroon ng active lifestyle. 💪🧠
Bakit?
1️⃣ Pinapanatiling malakas ang muscles at buto
Habang tumatanda, natural na humihina ang muscles at bones. Ang pagiging active ay nakakatulong para maiwasan ang panghihina, pananakit ng katawan, at risk ng pagkakadapa o injury.
2️⃣ Pinapabuti ang galaw, balance, at flexibility
Ang regular movement ay tumutulong para manatiling smooth ang kilos ng katawan. Mas madaling gumalaw, mas stable ang balance, at mas nagiging independent sa araw-araw na gawain.
3️⃣ Pinoprotektahan ang puso at overall health
Ang active lifestyle ay nakababawas sa risk ng high blood pressure, diabetes, at iba pang lifestyle diseases na kadalasang lumalabas habang tumatanda.
4️⃣ Mas healthy ang isip at emosyon
Ang paggalaw ng katawan ay nakakatulong para manatiling positive ang mood, iwas stress, at mas confident sa sarili—kahit anong edad pa.

❌ Hindi sapat ang cardio lang (jogging, zumba, jump rope, pickleball) lalo na kung nasa 50s ka na at gusto mong lumiit ang tiyan.
Habang tumatanda:
• Bumabagal ang metabolism
• Nawawala ang muscle, napapalitan ng taba
• Nagbabago ang hormones
• Mas madaling mag-ipon ng belly fat
👉 Kaya kahit pareho ang kain at galaw, lumalaki pa rin ang tiyan.
✅ Ang solusyon habang tumatanda:
• Tamang nutrition (sapat na protein, balanced carbs & fats)
• Resistance training para mapanatili ang muscle at bilisan ang metabolism
📌 Reminder:
Hindi na puwedeng “same routine.”
Kailangan mas matalino ang pagkain at ehersisyo.
