“Last year we did an experiment with my home-schooled son - putting different things on bread, or wiping the bread on different surfaces and seeing how quickly mould developed, how much and what type of mould (although we were very slack with recording our results haha).
I squirted breastmilk on one piece of bread, and you can see that the 'breastmilked' area in the middle wouldn't go mouldy! I can't remember how long this one had been left, but weeks later all the rest of the bread had gone mouldy, but still not the part with the breastmilk!”

Breastmilk is a living fluid with antibacterial and antiviral factors, and so much more!!

Mommies, let us not bediscouraged if we are being told that our breastmilk is not enough for our loved ones. Hindi po ako against sa mga nagfformula milk, but I’m encouraging you to do breastfeeding if you’re capable. Wag po maniwala na hindi enough nutrients ang nakukuha sa gatas. For newborns, enough nutrients po ang nakukuha dito. Sunbathing na lang ang kulang for the vitamin D. Bukod sa nutrients, yung bonding and closeness natin kay baby ay mas tumataas.
