TAMS NEWS | From Fortitude to Futures: Batch 2026 STEMaraws Celebrate Momentous Graduation
Graduating students from the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
(STEM) strand of FEU High School officially marked the end of their Senior High School journey, on June 1, 2026, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City for its 9th commencement exercise. Highlighting the achievements, perseverance, and growth of the
graduating batch despite the challenges they encountered throughout the school year.
The event formally began with the processional rites, the entrance of colors, and the presence of the School Administrators, Faculty, Staff, and Student Leaders, who warmly welcomed the graduating batch. Afterwards, the invocation was shortly done by Euri M. Javier, a student from 12 STEM 1A.
Prior to the Guest of Honor, Mr. Genoroso Pamittan Jr. delivered his remarks, introducing Dr. Maria Teresa Tinio, who presided over the Turning of the Tasselsβa longstanding academic tradition symbolizing achievement, transition, and the completion of an educational milestone.
One of the most anticipated parts of the program was the awarding of diplomas. Wearing their togas with pride, the graduates crossed the stage to formally accept the recognition for their years of hard work and dedication.
The ceremony featured an inspiring speech from Marwin Bunag, an outstanding STEM
student, reflecting on the experiences that shaped the graduating batch: βWe not only had fortitude and excellence, but we were molded with uprightness to be that constant friction in the unsettling world.β The speech reminds Tamaraws not to limit themselves as students, but rather as citizens who are morally inclined and socially aware for the greater good.
As the program reaches the end, a representative from the FEU Alumni Association delivered a heartfelt message to the graduates, reminding them to carry the values of Fortitude, Excellence, and Uprightness wherever their future paths may lead.
To conclude the event, Finally, the singing of the FEU Hymn and the Recessional further
opens a new chapter, as this one closes, allowing each graduate to take a step forward to the opening of new beginnings, they carry with them the wise words, inspiring messages, and values always kept deep inside the Tamaraw heart.
